S+D's Elopement
Backyard tea party with loved ones
S + D’s elopement was basically the sweetest little love letter to doing a wedding exactly how you want to. They celebrated in Georgia with a small group of their favorite people, a tea party setup, and sooo many tiny details that made the whole thing feel so cozy and personal.
I love intimate weddings like this because you actually get to spend time with the people you invited. There’s no rushing around trying to say hi to 150 people before the night ends, it's just good food, happy tears, little conversations, and everybody getting to be fully present with you.
And S + D were SO easy to adore. Their whole day felt soft, intentional, and completely theirs, which is pretty much everything that everyone want an elopement to be.
This Georgia elopement was such a good reminder that “eloping” absolutely does not have to mean running off alone. Sometimes it looks like gathering your closest people around a table, pouring tea, eating cute little treats, and celebrating your marriage with the people who know you best.
I’m based in Denver as a Colorado wedding and elopement photographer now, but I still LOVE traveling back to Georgia for days like this. Especially when the plan is small, meaningful, a little nontraditional, and centered around actually enjoying each other.
